Emma Allen

The day that we had our sweet Emma was January 1 2012. We had waited for this day for such a long time to finally have our little girl. She was perfect in every way. She was the 2nd baby born of the new year in our town. She weight 6ld 10oz and was 20 inches long and was perfect. All was good, they took her to the nursey to be checked out. She had a little bit of respatory destress but other then that she was fine, so we thought. I went to see out precious baby the next morning at about 8:30 and they said she was a bit irritated from the chest xray they did, so i didn't spend much time with her as i wanted her to rest. I went back to my room so i could get breakfast. I was back in my room for about 25 minutes when her doctor came in and told me that things didn't look good for our baby. He said that they were drawing her labs and all of a sudden her oxygen rate dropped and then her heart rate dropped. They gave her all the meds that they could. They even done CPR on her and intubated her and tried to bring her back for 45 minutes.  Much to our suprise the doc in and told us that our precious little girl was gone. We only had a short time with her as she passed away at only 23 hours old. This has been hard for me and my husband to deal with as this wasnt expected. They done an autopsy on her and she had a condition that no test could have determined. Her arteries that go from her lungs to her heart we deformed and she couldnt get oxygen. This condition is rare and i still havent figured out why god decided to give it to her as we have waited so long for her. I know now that our precious angel baby is at peace and is in no more pain and is in heave dancing with the angels. Mommy and Daddy miss you sweet angel baby and we will hold you in our arms once again, until that time, laugh and play with the angels. <3
